Sustainable, Affordable, and Naturally Grown
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: - Ex. 19:5 KJV
Seventh Day Farm is dedicated to Permaculture and Aquaculture. These are systems which mimic the characteristics of our natural ecosystem. Permaculture is the practice of natural and sustainable habits, applied to farming to produce rich and healthy crops. This means no synthetic chemicals added to facilitate growth or for pest control. Permaculture has been practiced throughout the history of the world and encompasses the best growing practices. Similarly, Aquaculture involves raising some specie(s) of fish mainly for food but also for other purposes. Specifically at Seventh Day farm, we incorporate an Aquaponic ecosystem where our Blue Tilapia fish produce a source of natural, beneficial nutrients that our plants thrive on.
